Strong nominations explain the problem being solved, the uniqueness of the solution, evidence of adoption or traction, the founder's execution, customer or beneficiary outcomes and the venture's path toward sustainable growth.

Eligible early-stage, growth-stage, technology, service, consumer, B2B, social-impact and sector-focused startups may nominate where they fit the category.
Does a startup need to be venture funded?
No. Funding status alone does not determine eligibility. Bootstrapped and funded startups can both be considered based on the relevant evidence and category.
What evidence is useful for a startup award nomination?
Traction, customer adoption, revenue or growth indicators, pilots, partnerships, product innovation, impact metrics, user outcomes and founder execution can strengthen a nomination.
Can a founder nominate the startup and also be considered individually?
Yes, where the founder and the venture fit separate relevant categories and the submitted evidence supports each recognition.
When is the current ceremony?
The current National Awards 2026 ceremony is scheduled for 25 October 2026 in Mumbai.
