The National Innovation Award recognises people and organisations that transform ideas into useful solutions through technology, research, design, process improvement, product development or new approaches to social and institutional challenges.
Eligible nominees may include individual innovators, researchers, startups, businesses, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, teams, laboratories, product developers and social innovators with evidence of originality and application.
Strong nominations explain the problem, what is genuinely new or improved, how the innovation was developed or implemented, evidence of adoption or outcomes, and the potential for sustainability, scale or wider relevance.
The National Innovation Award forms part of the National Awards India recognition initiatives presented by India Book of Achievements.
